 Yashica FX-3 Super 2000 with homemade lens Success! I think this will be my camera of choice at least for awhile. I love the results and using it is extremely entertaining. The zoom is about as far as I expected, the equivalent of an 80mm. I estimated the aperture at 4 but I think it's more 2.8, could've used 1 more stop in exposure. The overall effect is more soft focus but I think I had the lens turned a bit too much. I need to work with setting the lens to a zero point and working from there. Overall I'm satisfied with this one, but motivated to build again and see what develops. Inspired by the likes of SusbanB., mkaz and Ed Wenn among others. | |
