![]() homesick Houston, TX I've never been much of a phone guy. I love conversation in person, but it's too easy to get distracted when talking on the phone. No eye contact, no reading of body language and facial expression. The last few years I've tried to change that, talking to him on the phone every night when he's not here. More from the self-tooting horn: Three images from Alternating Weekends were selected to be a part of the current Fraction Magazine group show, Fathers and Sons. Exciting to be in the company of men and fathers I admire, respect and glean inspiration from on a daily basis. HUGE thanks to Aline Smithson for including me in this wonderful exhibit. I recently reconnected with Anna Snow, a talented poet, photographer, artist and filmmaker friend from my days at the University of Houston, and she surprised me with a profile post. Thank you Anna. I won't put this in the 'Dammit Anna' notebook in spite of my puzzled looks. Honored to snag the cover of Light Leaks 14 focusing on childhood. I currently have two pieces hanging at the Watson Studio Gallery in Johnson City, TX as part of the Fantastic Plastic Exhibition along with a cornucopia of other toy-camera-toting friends. Timothy Archibald was extremely kind in highlighting Alternating Weekends on his blog as part of his Everybody Else Week. | |
