 ike Houston, TX Home safe and sound. Minor water damage to the kitchen, shingles, tree limbs and fences everywhere. We're counting our blessings. So many still without power, water, homes. We went west and stayed with the Woodall's. Awoke to find the fallen oak tree, luckily in the front yard instead of on the house or our car. The last photos are from my sister-in-law's home in La Porte. A helluva way to find out what corners the home-builder cut. My heart goes out to everyone suffering from this mess. | |
